            EL VALOR DEL ENCUENTRO

            Hoy en día tenemos muchas oportunidades para llegar a un encuentro con los demás. La amistad, los negocios, la celebración de algún evento personal, familiar, social, deportivo… Son circunstancias que nos invitan a un encuentro. A veces quedamos un tanto desilusionados en algún determinado encuentro. No hemos valorado a los demás lo que de verdad se merecen. Nos hemos quedado en unas categorías muy personales, tal vez egoístas.

            Primero hay que conocerse, valorarse y aceptarse para luego encontrarse con el otro e ir descubriendo juntos los mutuos valores. Esto nos lleva a que nuestro encuentro, nuestro diálogo y posible mutua ayuda, enriquezca ambas partes.

            Hoy en día con las nuevas tecnologías tenemos “infinidad “de posibilidades para que los encuentros nos enriquezcan a todos. Pero la pobreza, los intereses, el dominio… siguen ahí, creando divisiones entre las personas, entre los pueblos… Ojalá seamos más sensibles a todo cuanto nos rodea.

            Busquemos y orientemos todos los medios a nuestro alcance para respetar más a las personas, ayudar a los marginados… y juntos, crear un mudo más humano y más solidario. Así, nuestros encuentros y proyectos adquieren nuevos valores más cercanos, más solidarios y más competitivos. La indiferencia y la insensibilidad nos alejan de los demás. Hay que superar las quejas e intentar llevar a cabo los proyectos aprobados.

         THE VALUE OF THE ENCOUNTER

         Today we have many opportunities to reach out to others. Friendship, business, the celebration of some personal, family, social or sport event... are circumstances that invite us to a meeting. Sometimes we are a little disappointed in a particular meeting. We have not valued the others what they really deserve. We have remained in some very personal, perhaps selfish, categories.

         First we have to know, value and accept each other, and then we have to meet each other and discover our mutual values together. This leads to our meeting, our dialogue and possible mutual help, enriching both parties.

         Today, with the new technologies, we have "infinite possibilities" for encounters to enrich us all. But poverty, interests, domination... are still there, creating divisions between people, between peoples... Let us hope that we are more sensitive to everything around us.

         Let us seek and direct all the means at our disposal to respect people more, to help the marginalized... and together, to create a more humane and supportive world. In this way, our meetings and projects acquire new values that are closer, more supportive and more competitive. Indifference and insensitivity alienate us from others. We must overcome complaints and try to carry out the projects that have been approved.
