Nº 70
renueva… No cansa. Siempre une, la verdadera amistad no esclaviza, colabora,
comparte, perdona.
No olvida esos pequeños detalles. Sabe colocarse

THE LANGUAGE OF FRIENDSHIP.
Everything that serves us for
communication, our interpersonal relationships of meeting, living together,
friendship, help... are basically a language. What to think or how to act in
the language of friendship? I believe that one of the demands, if not the
first, is: sincerity.
Every day we write a story, our personal
story. It is and must be, a sincere story, of commitment, of mutual help. A
story where, in its atmosphere, one breathes sincerity and mutual commitment.
Everything is full of meaning when the message comes loaded with sincere
friendship and responsibility.
Authentic friendship is like love,
it always forgives. It does not manipulate, it is creative, its language does
not destroy, it always restores and discovers new paths of encounter, it is
renewed... It does not tire. It always unites, true friendship does not enslave,
it collaborates, shares, forgives. It invites us to go out of ourselves. It is
contrary to all comfort, it is demanding.
A danger lurks in the communication
and language of friendship: the new technologies. First of all, we need to
meet, to have a sincere and responsible dialogue. True friendship is demanding,
it always asks for "details". The grateful person is always
attentive, simple and polite. He does not forget those small details. He knows
how to place himself beside the other and ask for forgiveness because knowing
how to forgive is to walk together again.
Mother Teresa used to say:
"Peace begins with a smile." Life is full of small details that give
meaning to our existence.
