            LA VIDA

            El derecho a vivir lo más dignamente posible, respetando la vida, es algo que nos incumbe a todos. Y todos somos responsables en tener y compartir los valores de las personas. Nadie es un inútil. La vida nos interroga, nos cuestiona y nos exige colaborar en el bien común. Vivimos en una sociedad tecnificada y si no estamos atentos, si no damos respuestas inteligentes, liberadoras… nos convertimos en “esclavos” del progreso e ignoramos a quienes viven en la pobreza.

            Estamos llenos de tantas actividades… pero quizás vacíos de ilusión y proyectos y vida. Hay que seguir buscando nuevos horizontes que nos ayuden a ser más cercanos, a recuperar a quienes han perdido la ilusión y las ganas de vivir. El valor de la convivencia nos exige, en primer lugar, olvidarnos un tanto de nosotros mismos y apartar algo (o mucho) para los demás.  

            Hay que seguir caminando a pesar de algún tropiezo o caída. ¿Quién no se ha equivocado alguna vez? Saber tolerar y si es necesario: perdonar. ¡Cuántas lecciones nos da la vida! Seamos críticos, responsables y no caigamos en lo que arrastra a las personas insensibles o indiferentes. La indiferencia aísla, margina, al final... mata.

            Nos ha dejado este mensaje Martin Luther King: “No me duelen los actos de la gente buena”. Seamos sensibles a todo lo que nos llega y nuestras respuestas sean siempre inteligentes y responsables.

LIFE

The right to live as worthily as possible, respecting life, is something that concerns us all. And we are all responsible for having and sharing people's values. No one is useless. Life questions us, questions us and demands that we collaborate in the common good. We live in a technified society and if we are not attentive, if we do not give intelligent, liberating answers... we become "slaves" of progress and ignore those who live in poverty.

         We are full of so many activities... but perhaps empty of hope and projects and life. We must continue to look for new horizons that will help us to be closer, to recover those who have lost the illusion and the will to live. The value of living together requires us, in the first place, to forget a little about ourselves and to set aside something (or a lot) for others. 

         We must continue to walk in spite of some stumbling or falling. Who has not made a mistake at some time? Knowing how to tolerate and if necessary: to forgive. How many lessons life gives us! Let us be critical, responsible and not fall into what drags people down who are insensitive or indifferent. Indifference isolates, marginalizes, in the end... kills.

         Martin Luther King left us this message: "I am not hurt by the actions of good people". Let us be sensitive to everything that comes our way and let our responses always be intelligent and responsible.
